Before we pray, let’s hear God’s Word.

Good morning. If today feels heavy, if life has been rushing like a storm around you, I want you to remember this: God is still with you. He is still in control. He hasn’t forgotten you.

The Bible says in Mark 4:39:

“Then Jesus stood up, spoke to the wind and waves, and said, ‘Peace, be still.’ And the storm became quiet.”

The same Jesus who calmed the sea speaks the same words to your heart today:
Peace. Be still.

When Life Feels Overwhelming

Some mornings we wake up already tired. Worry shows up before our feet even touch the floor. But God’s peace isn’t about having a perfect day—it’s about His perfect presence.

Isaiah 26:3 says:

“You will keep in perfect peace those who trust in You.”

Peace doesn’t come from everything going right.
Peace comes from knowing God is right here with you.

🛡 God’s Promise in the Storm

In Psalm 46:1–3, the Bible reminds us:

“God is our refuge and strength…
we will not fear, even if the mountains crumble.”

God never promised life would be storm-free.
But He did promise that He would stay with you.

And Jesus says in John 16:33:

“In this world you will have trouble, but take heart—I have overcome the world.”

Morning Prayer for Peace

God, we come to You this morning with open hearts.
Some of us feel calm. Some of us feel afraid.
Some of us don’t know what to do next.

Please speak peace to the thoughts in our mind today.
Calm our hearts. Remind us You are near.
Help us trust that You are working even when we can’t see it yet.

You are our protector.
You are our peace.
And we trust You.

Amen.

Faith Declarations for Today

Speak these over your day:

• I will not fear—God is with me.
• God’s peace guards my heart and mind.
• This storm will not break me.
• I will rest in God’s promises, not my worries.
• The same God who calmed the sea is calming my heart.

Say them out loud or quietly—they still matter.

Final Encouragement

God is with you in the calm and in the storm.
You don’t have to figure everything out today.
You just have to take one step—and God will take it with you.
